I lived in Alberta from 1980 to 2000 operating different small businesses. In 2000 he moved back to Quebec, my native province, where I worked a few years in the aerospace industry for companies such as Bombardier and Bell Helicopter. I made my way back to Alberta in June of 2009 and now works as a Senior Maintenance Planner for TransCanada in downtown Calgary.
Lately I have been selected to participate in a joint project from Engineers Without Borders and my employer, TransCanada.I will be working alongside EWB volunteers for a 6 months secondment in Northern Ghana. I am very excited, I have always dreamed of doing this kind of trip and now It's just happening. Our group from EWB will be working with local farmers and local government on a program called Farming as a Business.
